Premiered in the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2017, Mitsubishi Xpander has conquered the auto markets throughout the country for its innovative sporty design. This year, the new variant of Xpander will be introduced, once again in the same event.
Though official information about modifications hasn’t been revealed by the manufacturer, Japanese bloggers on Minkara Carview has already rendered the outlook of this MPV, assuming it an “Active Gear” model.

For available Mitsubishi Xpander series, the figures for length, width and height are 4475 mm, 1750mm and up to 1700 mm respectively. The engine type applied is 4A91 1.5L MIVEC inline-four mill using petrol, which can reach 105 PS and peak torque of 141 Nm. This can be mated to both 5-speed MT and 4-speed AT.

These products are being sold in Indonesia and the Philippines then come Thailand and Vietnam. The price range for Xpander series in local market is from P885,000 to P1,060,000. (cited Misubishi Philippines price list in July 2018)

The 2022 Mitsubishi Xpander is a seven-seater MPV for the Philippine market. As of the 2022 model year, there are three available variants for this model. There’s the Xpander GLX 1.5 MT, the Xpander GLX 1.5 AT, and the Xpander GLS 1.5 AT. These range in price from Php 1,050,000 to Php 1,180,000.
Size-wise, the Xpander has a length of 4,595mm, a width of 1,750mm, and a height of 1,750mm. It also has a wheelbase that spans 2,775mm, and a ground clearance of 225mm.
Under the hood, this Mitsubishi MPV uses a 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine that’s capable of producing up to 103 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque. It then uses a front-wheel-drive layout. Depending on the trim, it either gets a four-speed automatic gearbox, or a five-speed manual transmission.
