The all-new 2022 Raize is Toyota Motor Philippines’ smallest crossover offering. But regardless of its size, it actually offers plenty to would-be buyers. It has a handsome and contemporary exterior, a surprisingly generous interior, and decent power for its size and weight.

The Toyota Raize then offers a total of six different color options for the Philippine market. While some already know what color they want from the get-go, others might need help in choosing. So without further ado, here's a short guide on all the Toyota Raize colors available locally.
The subtle ones
As with most modern car models, the Toyota Raize is available in darker, subtle colors. These include the Silver Metallic 4, and Gray Metallic. Both of these are available to the entry-level Raize 1.2 E MT and Raize 1.2 E CVT, as well as the mid-spec Raize 1.2 G CVT.

As their names suggest, these are the types of colors you’d want if blending into the crowd is what you’re after. These are also simple to clean and maintain.
If you’re looking for a Toyota Raize in black though, then the only choice you’ll have is the top-spec version. And even that isn’t entirely black. Let’s talk about that later.
The Raize in Grey Metallic is the closest you will get to "black"
Bright and Youthful
The Toyota Raize in red may only come in the form of the mid-spec G trim. Dubbed as “Red 2”, this color option is the opposite of the previous ones we’ve described.
You know what they say, a car colored in red is faster. Just kidding
Being red, this color is bright, and will definitely catch some eyes. It further brings out the fine details of the car’s angular front fascia, and it will make the vehicle pop out even from a distance. Being more visible is great for safety, but you won’t be as “incognito” as you would be in Silver or Gray.
Two-tone coolness
Last but not the least is the Toyota Raize two-tone color choices. These come with black-colored roofs, combined with either White Pearl, Turquoise Mica Metallic, or Yellow SE.

Of note, all three are bright and will make your Raize extra visible. Then again, the black-colored roof tones it down a bit while providing the car with a great deal of sleekness.
The caveat for these two-tone color options however, is that they are only available on the top-spec Raize 1.0 Turbo. Furthermore, you’ll have to fork over Php 5,000 more on top of the car’s SRP if you want the White Pearl option.

It was then introduced to the Philippine market in January 2022.

Safety-wise, this Toyota crossover also features stability control, anti-lock braking with electronic brake-force distribution, and hill-start assist.
The top-spec variant adds to those with a rear camera, front, and rear parking sensors, as well as blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic alert.
Platform and Chassis
The Toyota Raize is built upon the Daihatsu New Global Architecture (DNHA) platform. This means that it is a unibody vehicle.
For suspensions, it uses MacPherson struts for the front, and a torsion beam for the rear. Braking is then handled by front disc brakes and rear drum brakes.
