The Honda Mobilio is a good option because it has more than enough interior space in the back with seats folded and has decent room for a couple of people. Just install a mattress for sleeping for good measure.

Most of these can be used but are hampered by a compact size, and little room for extra stuff. Another factor is that most of them aren’t equipped with 4WD or AWD to get to hard to reach places. Also, their interior space is too small for a decent sized mattress.

Toyota Avanza a sub-compact MPV, but the seats cannot be folded flush for more space. The height of the tailgate does make it impractical to place a tent, but it can be done. It can load more supplies and bigger equipment for car camping; most of it will be stored outside though.
