Toyota has refreshed its pickup-based SUV Fortuner with numerous significant upgrades

To commence with, the most important change in this subtle mid-life update is the introduction of a new variant dubbed 2.4V 4WD. With a price tag of 1,499,000 baht (P2.26 million), the 150 hp 2.4V 4WD now becomes the least pricey four-wheel drive Fortuner in Thai market.

Other exterior tweaks contains LED fog lamps, revised side steps, tail light lenses as well as refreshed side indicator. In the meantime, the cabin is more practical and comfortable with all-new eight-way power-adjustable passenger seats which currently come standard across the range. What’s more, rear disc brakes are also present on all trims, except for the entry-level 2.4G 2WD manual.

Three engines options include a 150 PS/400 Nm 2.4L and a 177 PS/450 Nm 2.8 L turbo diesel engines together with a 166 PS/245 Nm 2.7L naturally-aspirated Dual VVT-i petrol unit as before. All are still paired with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission.
