KIA reveals the very powerful sports sedan Kia Stinger 2019 for the Philippine market at the 2019 Manila International Auto Show.

Greetings Philkotse.com readers! We have great news as KIA has finally launched the 2019 Stinger for the Philippine market at the Manila International Auto Show 2019 after dropping many hints for some time.

The wait was well worth it however because when we first saw the Stinger in all its fiery red glory we indeed internalized deeply that the KIA brand and their cars indeed have matured further as an automotive company. Performance vehicles after-all are a good overall sign that an automotive company has strengthened.

Now upon taking a gander at the 2019 Kia Stinger, we noticed the very distinct look the KIA Stinger have as a whole. It’s a very low slung, very sporty car with an angular front fascia which somewhat reminds you of an angry creature, squinting at you all the while still having the quintessential things that make a KIA a KIA.

The KIA Stinger still have design cues that come familiar with a KIA vehicle but angrier and cooler

For starters, it has the recognizable logo at the front and rear, and the shape of the grille which is somewhat still similar to the KIA Sportage, Rio, and even the Picanto.

As like any high-performance sedan and more closely; the Stinger concept designs, the 2019 Stinger sports a long hood which leads up to a low profile roof.

Also notable are the large, functional vents two of which are present to cool the front disc brakes and another much larger one below the grille. The Stinger also comes equipped with 19-inch wheels further emphasizing performance.

When one would take a look inside, you would immediately notice the luxurious but functional leather interior that covers the dashboard, the steering wheel, and the seats. Other features of the Kia Stinger also include a start/stop button, auto climate control, powered adjustable seats, an 8-inch touchscreen communication, and entertainment system.

What comes as the center point of interest within the KIA Stinger however is the very high-tech monitor that has a multitude of applications in relation to the car’s performance and other relevant information. Information like trip distance, the temperature of your oil, are made available by this but also boost and a g-force meter is also included.

Despite being a performance vehicle, the all-new Kia Stinger can provide a comfortable seat for five people albeit headroom can become an issue with taller people. Otherwise, though it is very comfortable inside the passenger cabin because of the rear AC vents and ample leg room.

Performance and style all in the same package

Aside from luxury, the KIA Stinger is also a very safe vehicle as it comes equipped with a myriad of driving assist systems, seven airbags, and cruise control.

For power, the KIA Stinger comes with the powerful 3.3-liter TWIN turbo Lambda II V6 engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. The engine in question can produce up to 365 horsepower and 510 nm of torque.

For braking system, the Stinger has Brembo brakes installed for all four wheels providing the appropriate stopping power for that kind of engine.
