Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav special edition officially introduced

Suzuki India has recently introduced the special edition of the Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav with a wide range of new features, functions and especially, an impressive design along the body.

According to latest car news, to opt for this edition, buyers have to pay an extra Rs. 20,000 (P15,629). This amount is worth considering as the vehicle will receive an additional body kit including new seat cover and ORVM cover garnish. Moreover, safety is also enhanced with reserve parking sensors, door seal guard as well as other accessories.

There are no changes in the powertrain. So, the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav remains the 800cc 3-cylinder petrol engine boosting 48 hp and 69 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. At the same time, the engine provides decent fuel consumption of 24.7km/L.

Speaking of the Suzuki Alto 800 VXi, this trim is furnished with rear door child lock, keyless entry and central door locking as standard. The driver side airbags are also optioned.

Thanks to those cosmetic changes along with new safety characteristics, the Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Utsav is expected to go up against the likes of the Hyundai EON, Datsun redi-GO and the Renault Kwid.
