All-new Toyota Corolla Altis X 2017 premiered in Taiwan at P1,307,216

According to latest car news, Toyota has officially taken the wraps of its new Corolla Altis X 2017. The new model generally looks sportier and more aggressive than the standard version with redesigned front grille, new fog lamps and a more angular front bumper.

Measuring overall dimensions worth 4,660 mm x 1,775 mm x 1,460 mm (L x W x H), the facelifted Toyota Corolla Altis X 2017 is 20 mm longer than the current Corolla Altis. Furthermore, the new vehicle is also equipped with side skirts, 17-inch alloy wheels and a shark fin antenna.

Interior-wise, the black theme dominates the cabin along with red accents, creating a striking contrast on the center console, steering wheel and seat covers.

Propelling the all-new Toyota Corolla Altis X 2017 is still the 2ZR-FE 1.8-liter Dual VVT-i petrol engine which can churn out 138 hp at 6,400 rpm and a peak torque of 172 Nm at 4,000 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a continuously variable transmission.

In Taiwan, the Toyota Corolla Altis X 2017 is sold at NT$7,79,000 (P1,307,216). Up to the present, it hasn’t been clear whether the new Altis will make its way in the Philippines or not. So, just wait and see.
