At the rear, the new SUV somewhat resembles the X1 and X5, except for the uniquely-shaped LED tail lights. Lastly, the athletic and sleek look is completed by redesigned wheels and a more tapered roofline.

The Bavarian manufacturer has yet to announce any information about the powertrain of its new X3. However, it’s probably that the top-of-the-line X3 M40i will benefit from a 3.0 liter six-cylinder engine with 360 hp and 500 Nm of torque, coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. Meanwhile, a 2.0-liter, turbocharged I4, good for 248 hp and 350 Nm of torque will drive the base X3 xDrive30i.
