So what exactly is the all-new Range Rover Sport offering? What can prospective buyers expect from this new model from Land Rover? Let’s check it out in detail.

Exterior

The styling for the 2023 Range Rover Sport can be described as minimalist, but sophisticated.

Its front end gets a sleek, thin, black-colored front grille that seamlessly integrates the headlamp clusters. These, in turn, house a distinctive-looking pair of LED daytime running lamps and sharp LED headlamps.

There aren’t many sharp corners on the fascia as it assumes a smooth sloping shape wherein the lower portion ends on a likewise conservatively styled front bumper.

It does get some added touches like gloss black trim pieces on the mesh-type lower bumper, and on the mid-level grille. The hood then gently slopes upwards, but it gets some muscularity via a subtle hood bulge.

The side of the Range Rover Sport continues the smooth, subtle look of the front with its flush door handles. A singular character line then runs from the rearmost point of the headlamp clusters, toward the starting point of the taillights. Other than those, not much intricacy can be seen on its side profile.

Note likewise that from its side, one can see that it gets rather short overhangs. These allow the vehicle to handle 40-degree slopes. It also has a default ground clearance of 215mm.

Over to the rear, this new model gets what Land Rover claims, as the longest spoiler ever fitted to a Range Rover. A pair of detailed LED taillights then provide illumination from the rear.

A power tailgate is then provided for extra convenience. A black-colored rear diffuser along with dual tailpipes enhances the sporty appeal of the vehicle.

Depending on the trim, this luxury model also comes with a two-tone paint job with a black-colored roof and pillars. The exterior styling of the 2023 Range Rover Sport is then completed by a set of 21-inch alloy wheels.

Interior

Step inside the new Range Rover Sport and you’ll be greeted with a plush interior that’s filled to the brim with features.

Soft-touch surfaces are plentiful on the front cabin, and these are clad in leather. Likewise getting leather are the seats. Speaking of which, the front seats are 22-way power adjustable units that provide ventilation, heating, and a massage function.

The Range Rover Sport’s five occupants are then made comfortable by an automatic climate control system that employs a PM2.5 filtration system and the “nanoe” X technology. Together, these features can maintain interior air quality and can stave away odors, bacteria, and allergens.

Further enhancing the luxurious feel of the interior is an active noise cancellation system that reduces road and tire noise. But if one wants to, one can hear the engine roar by using the vehicle’s Dynamic Driving mode.

Tech & Safety

The all-new 2023 Range Rover Sport, as mentioned, has loads of tech. Chief among these is a 13.1-inch curved Pivi Pro touchscreen headunit that comes with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Together with its wireless 15W charger, this vehicle allows its users to finally ditch the wired life.

The said headunit is then linked to several optional sound systems. For those who want the best sound quality, a 29-piece Meridian Signature sound system paired with a 1,430W amplifier is available.

Note likewise that both the driver display and the main touchscreen come with high-definition graphics and haptic feedback. The latter is crucial, as it can aid drivers in controlling the said screens without having to take their eyes away from the road.

Other stand-out tech features found inside the Range Rover Sport include over-the-air software updates.

Handling safety for the Land Rover Range Rover Sport is an Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite. This includes emergency braking, a 360-degree 3D surround camera, wade sensing, adaptive cruise control, driver condition monitor, lane keep assist, traffic sign recognition, etc.
