Jeep Philippines recently offered a launch promo or discount for those who are interested in buying a Jeep Renegade or Jeep Compass. This special offer is available for a limited time only.
We may be familiar already with the Jeep Renegade as it has been in the local market for quite some time now.
2020 Jeep Renegade - Test Drive
The Jeep Renegade used to have a starting price above Php 2.0 million, but after the special offer, it now starts at Php 1,640,000 for the Longitude base variant and Php 1,790,000 for the Limited high-end variant.
The Renegade is powered by a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine that puts out 145 hp and 230 Nm of torque. It is only available in 4x2 front-wheel-drive.

The 2020 Jeep Renegade
On the other hand, the Jeep Compass is now priced at Php 1,850,000 (You can learn more about specs, reviews, and price list of Jeep Compass model here) This crossover is the latest addition to the Philippine lineup.
We got to see it first during the 2019 Manila International Auto Show, but the model that will be available in the local market will have more powertrain options like a smaller 1.4-liter MultiAir powertrain capable of producing 162 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
The probable reason for the surprisingly affordable prices is because these Jeep SUVs are now sourced from China – taking advantage of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement (China AFTA).
It was first proposed in November 2000 to increase the trade of goods and services between China and its Southeast Asian neighbors.

Auto Nation Group (ANG), the official distributor of Jeep in the country, announced that there will be a Php 50,000 discount if buyers avail of this promo which valid only until June 30, 2020.
We can expect many Jeep fans to be in line for this promo as Jeep is known to be relatively expensive and luxurious locally.
