Volvo Philippines, a Swedish car brand in the Philippines, is celebrating the Swedish Midsummer by offering up to Php 1 million off on select Volvo vehicles including the T8 Plug-in Hybrid variants. This limited Swedish Midsummer offer is available on the S90, XC40, XC60, and XC90. With this offer, the company is totally redefining Midsommar to us now – the creepy and disturbing 2019 folk horror film set in the Scandinavian part of Europe. But we digress.
Going back, the T8 Twin Turbo Plug-in Hybrid models on offer are made exceptional in order to provide customers with industry-leading innovations through its infotainment, comfort, and safety features.
The hybrid models also boast its world-first advanced air cleaner that prevents up to 95 percent of incoming air particles from entering the cabin.
Volvo takes pride for its luxurious and elegant model lineup
The only Volvo sedan in the local lineup, the S90, offers luxurious Scandinavian interior and exterior finishes that make it instantly stand out on the street. It is powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 190 hp and 400 Nm of torque.
While the XC40, a crossover, provides bold and sporty design cues. Under the hood, this crossover is powered by a 2.0-liter gasoline engine mated to an 8-speed Geartronic automatic transmission.
The sophisticated Volvo XC60 compact SUV
Volvo’s compact SUV, the Volvo XC60, is a vehicle that is said to epitomize Scandinavian design and Swedish creativity. It is spacious and versatile, with a load compartment of 505 liters and 1,432 liters with the backrests folded.

Last but not least in Volvo’s lineup is the Volvo XC90. The XC90’s range of electrified powertrains includes mild hybrids and T8 Twin Engine models capable of zero-emission travels. It is available with four-, five-, six-, or seven-seats, depending on trim.
Volvo is a leader in sustainable mobility by continuously innovating its electric powertrains and plug-in hybrid cars. The company said that its hybrid models also offer customers with lower operating costs, fuel-efficiency, responsive acceleration, and a more refined drive.
Although we can’t celebrate the Swedish Midsummer due to the strict implementation of social distancing, the Swedish carmaker is hoping that its Php 1 million off Midsummer promo will make up for that matter.
