Suzuki Cars Philippines has rolled out a new promo just in time for the rainy season. Dubbed “Rainproof Deals,” it offers significant cash discounts for the Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid and the Suzuki XL7.

Both of the mentioned vehicles are seven-seater MPVs, and they can fill in as a comfortable and convenient method of transport for the entire family especially when the rain goes pouring.
The deal offers a discount of Php 50,000 for the XL7 while the Ertiga Hybrid gets a discount of Php 45,000. These cash discounts are then complimented with a Php 130,000 low downpayment promo for the XL7 and a Php 99,000 low downpayment promo for the Ertiga Hybrid.
The 2023 Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid
Suzuki’s Rainproof Deals promo is available until July 31, 2023 only. It is offered at the brand’s 72-strong nationwide dealership network. So if you’re interested in these three-row models, do visit your nearest Suzuki dealership while the promo lasts.
To refresh your memories, the 2023 Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid is the first hybrid MPV in the country. It uses a 1.5-liter gasoline engine combined with an integrated starter generator (ISG), and it can produce up to 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque. Power is sent to its front wheels via a four-speed automatic or a five-speed manual depending on the variant. Prices for this model range from Php 954,000 to Php 1,103,000.
Meanwhile, the XL7 is a three-row MPV that’s based on the Ertiga. It comes with an SUV-like exterior trim, resulting in a more imposing appearance. The XL7 also has a ground clearance of 200mm, which is 10mm more compared to the Ertiga Hybrid.

At maximum, the XL7’s 1.5-liter gasoline engine can churn out 105 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque. Power is sent to its front wheels via a four-speed automatic gearbox. The XL7’s sole available variant for the local market has a regular price of Php 1,181,000.

The Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid 2023 is a seven-seater MPV. In the Philippine market, it has four different variants. There’s the entry-level GA MT, GL MT, GL AT, and the top-spec GLX AT. Prices range from Php 954,000 to Php 1,153,000.
Propelling the 2023 Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid is a 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine paired with an Integrated Starter Generator. The said part then charges up the battery and an electric motor. Combined, this system can produce up to 103 horsepower and 138 Nm of torque. Power is sent to its front wheels via a five-speed manual gearbox or a four-speed automatic transmission, depending on the variant.
Size-wise, the Ertiga Hybrid is 4,395mm long, 1,735mm wide, and 1,690mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,740mm, and a ground clearance of 180mm.
The Suzuki Ertiga Hybrid’s local rivals includes the Toyota Avanza, Mitsubishi Xpander and Xpander Cross, Hyundai Stargazer, Nissan Livina, Toyota Veloz, Honda BR-V, among others.
