The Stuttgart-based carmaker has lately launched the all-new Porsche Cayenne Hybrid 2019 with a more eco-friendly engine. The new Cayenne now comes with more power, faster acceleration, better range and a higher top speed.
Under the hood, the Cayenne Hybrid is powered by a 3.0L turbo V6 engine which is capable of cranking out 335 hp and 450 Nm of torque. It is combined with an electric engine producing 132 hp and 400 Nm of torque. The two engines will make an output of 455 hp and up to 700 Nm. The mill then works in a conjunction with an active all-wheel-drive system and an 8-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission.

Putting in a comparison with the predecessor, the all-new Porsche Cayenne Hybrid 2019 doles out 45 hp and 110 Nm more. The SUV whirs from 0 – 100 km/h in 5s before topping out at 253 kph.
The Cayenne Hybrid 2019 can run up to a maximum of 441 km when in hybrid mode. Additionally, the hybrid also can reach up to 135 km/h in speed when in electric mode (E-Power).
The car is able to obtain such impressive output figures thanks to a lithium-ion liquid-cooled battery pack. The fresh battery can accumulate 14.8 kWh, up 30% over the previous model. The battery charger can be made in 2 ways: a 230V 7.2 kW onboard charger that takes 2.3 hours to recharge and a smaller 230V 3.6kW plug-in that can get a 100% battery in 7.8 hours.

The Porsche Cayenne is a luxury midsize crossover that has been in the German automaker's lineup since 2002. It is offered in the Philippines in six variants, while the pricing is available upon request. Under the hood, Porsche Philippines is offering three engine options.
