At the 2017 Bangkok International Motor Show, Toyota Motors Thailand today is launching the new Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo.
Apart from the Toyota Vios with Dual VVT-i + CVT tech which has introduced recently, the TRD Sportivo is the latest offering in the Thai auto market.

The Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo has a different look with a tougher appearance and suspension. Toyota Motor Asia Pacific Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd (TMAP-EM) in Thailand is in charge of the model's design.

In addition to the tougher appearance, the new vehicle also looks sportier and bears a distinct style. Specifically, this Sportivo is furnished with a huge front bumper, a front grille with the striking Toyota insignia and a TRD Sportivo badge on the tailgate.

In addition, the TRD’s stainless steel exhaust system, tailgate, and floor mats are unique features of this new SUV.  A black roof and 20-inch TRD black-painted alloy wheels also drive the car’s sportiness.

The price of the new Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo will start at 1,679,000 Baht (₱ 2,447,833).

Concerning the exterior color, both White Pearl CS and Attitude Black Mica are available for the customers.

Furthermore, the car also gets JBL audio system with 11 speakers and T-Connect all-new navigation system in a 7-inch touchscreen. Especially, the Sportivo plush seats are splendidly equipped in the car.

In terms of powertrain, the new Toyota Fortuner TRD Sportivo only uses a 2.8-litre 1GD-FTV turbo-diesel engine delivering 177 PS (130 kW) and 450 Nm of torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission, while a 4WD system is optional.
