Ford Philippines opens 50th dealership in Talisay, Cebu

First 50 customers will receive Ford merchandise.

Ford Philippines officially opens the doors of its new dealership in Talisay, the 50th in the country from the Blue Oval company. It is operated by Fairlane Automotive Ventures, Inc. (FAVI) and is expected to further expand the car brand’s presence in the Queen City of the South.

As a way to welcome the new dealership, the first 50 customers will receive exclusive Ford merchandise. Moreover, customers who will purchase a Ford Territory, Ranger, or Everest for the month of June will get a free scheduled service plan (SSP) package.

“This is a testament to the growing preference towards the Ford brand and our growing vehicle portfolio and after-sales offerings. We are grateful to the partnership we have with FAVI and look forward to serving the automotive needs of more Cebuanos with our Ford Talisay dealership,” said Ford Philippines Managing Director Michael Breen.

Situated on a 1,397-sqm. land, the interior and exterior of the new Ford Talisay is constructed with the Ford Signature, a design language for the car brand’s dealership around the world. It aims to provide customers a better overall car buying experience and environment.

Offering vehicles built by the American car brand

With the opening of the Ford Talisay, Cebuaños can now get their hands on Ford vehicles easier including the EcoSport, Mustang, and Explorer. Ford Talisay is built to display seven of the American car brand’s vehicles and also includes 11 service bays with provisions for future expansion.

“We thank our partners from Ford Philippines for their support and collaboration in seeing the construction of Ford Talisay into fruition so that we can serve customers from Talisay City to Southern Cebu,” said FAVI General Manager Andre Borromeo.

Located at Cebu South Road Properties Road, Cansojongm Talisay City, the new Ford dealership is open from Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. for both its sales and service operations.

Ford Ranger

The 2023 Ford Ranger is a 4x4 or 4x2 pickup truck. It is the latest version of the said model, and as of its launch in the Philippine market, it has a total of eight different variants.

These are the top-spec Wildtrak 4x4, Wildtrak 4x2, Sport 4x4, Sport 4x2, XLT 4x2, XLS 4x2 AT, XLS 4x2 MT, and the entry-level XL 4x4. As of 2023, prices for these trims ranges from php 1,213,000 to Php 1,910,000.

Under the hood of the new Ranger are two-different diesel mills. For the Wildtrak 4x4, it uses a 2.0-liter biturbo that can churn out 210 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. It is also the sole trim that uses a 10-speed automatic tranny.

The rest of the all-new Ranger then gets a 2.0-liter turbodiesel that can produce up to 170 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque. Only the XLS 4x2 and the XL 4x4 may come with a six-speed manual. The other non-biturbo trims then use a six-speed automatic.

Size-wise, the all-new 2023 Ranger is 5,370mm long, 1,918mm wide, and 1,884mm in height. They also offer a wheelbase length of 3,270mm, and a ground clearance of 235mm.

Locally, the 2023 Ford Ranger faces the Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, Mitsubishi Strada, Isuzu D-Max, Mazda BT-50, etc.
