Chery Commonwealth opens as brand’s biggest dealership in PH

Chery Auto Philippines opened the doors of its newest and biggest dealership in Commonwealth, Quezon City.

The new Chery Commonwealth is the Chinese automaker’s 23rd dealership in the country which is managed by the company’s dealer partner, Luzon Industry Movers Inc. (LIMI). It is responsible for expanding the reach of the brand to individuals residing near the location.

“This is another milestone for us as we embark on a long-term journey of bringing the brand closer to more Filipinos. This moment marks the first of the many expansion efforts to boost our dealer network,” said Chery Auto Philippines Chairman Rommel Sytin.

Planted on a 976.8-sqm. land, the new dealership is built with five spacious service bays with technician rooms, an aftersales room, and a conference room, among others. Additionally, the outlet features a 2-story showroom that can accommodate up to eight Chery vehicles. The car brand said that it is the biggest Chery showroom in the Philippines to date. Aside from that, the said dealership includes an electric vehicle (EV) charging station.

Visitors can get to know more about the automaker’s all-crossover lineup under the Tiggo series which consists of the Tiggo 2 Pro, Tiggo 5x, and Tiggo 7 Pro. The Tiggo 2 Pro is the brand’s entry-level model, with the Tiggo 5x offering a bit more space. Meanwhile, the Tiggo 7 Pro has been positioned one size up in the compact crossover category.

The lineup is also joined by Chery Auto Philippines’ newest flagship model, the Tiggo 8 Pro. This midsize crossover is available in three engine configurations, including a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) that can run up to 95 km on one charge. It boasts 7-year general and engine warranties, and an 8-year warranty for the lithium-ion battery.

“Chery has seen tremendous growth in these past few months. Our consistent sales, marketing, and aftersales efforts have helped us reach our highest-ever sales performance. The opening of Chery Commonwealth, today, shows our commitment to making Chery more accessible to the public,” said Chery Auto Philippines President Erroll E. Dueñas.
