The spied Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2019 is expected to borrow some features from the Triton.

It has been over a decade when the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport made its first appearance to the world. While its younger brother Montero Sport is getting more and more popular in the local motoring market, the Pajero seems to be put aside.

Not until 2016 did loyal fans of this enduring iconic SUV in the Philippines welcome a refreshed Pajero with a stronger "heart". And now, spy shots of an alleged Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2019 provided by Paultan.org have one again stirred up local auto market.

The spied Pajero Sport seems to be the top-spec version, which can be predicted based on its big 18’’ 2-tone alloy wheels, lashings of chrome trim for the exterior and the bi-LED headlamps. Besides, the car seen in our neighboring Malaysian market also features a Dynamic Shield face, upright LED tail lamps and gently based Triton interior.

In other countries, the Pajero comes equipped with a modern package of safety features including a Blind Spot Warning, a Forward Collision Mitigation System and an Ultrasonic Misacceleration Mitigation System. Although it is not sure about what will be exactly included in the kit of the new Pajero, stability control and 7 airbags are expected to be in attendance, like in the top-of-the-line Triton.
