MG ZS Nite Edition available with P50K cash discount this month

You can now get the blacked-out crossover under a million.

MG Philippines brought quite a lineup at the 2023 Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), from a classic 1969 MGB GT to the sporty MG GT. One MG model also in attendance was the ZS Nite Edition, the latest variant of the subcompact crossover that boasts a black exterior theme.

For MIAS visitors who were fascinated by the Nite Edition package, MG Philippines is offering it with a cash discount of Php 50,000 under the “Make Your Way With MG” promo. This means the blacked-out crossover can be brought home for Php 968,000 from a Php 1,018,000 SRP (suggested retail price).

The MG ZS Nite Edition is fitted with a set of 17-inch black alloy wheels, black trims, and a newly-colored grille with a darker finish. Inside, the cabin comes with a 10-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a six-speaker system.

But perhaps the most noteworthy feature is the powered tailgate, allowing passengers to load their cargo more conveniently.

Powering the vehicle is a 1.5-liter naturally-aspirated gasoline engine good for 112 horsepower and 150 Nm of torque. The engine sends power to the front wheel via a 4-speed automatic transmission.

In terms of size, the ZS spans 4,314 mm in length, 1,809 mm in width, and 1,648 mm in height, with a wheelbase rated at 2,585 mm. In the local market, this British-bred subcompact crossover competes against the likes of the Ford EcoSport, Mazda CX-3, and Geely Coolray.
