Now, the Japanese car brand wants to extend those PMS coverages that were not included in the new five-year program by offering the 2-year Extended Service Plan package. Of note, the extension plan is only available for those Mazda vehicles purchased between October 2017 to March 2020 or for those who have not consumed their first 3-year free PMS plan.

The price of the 2-year Extended Service Plan package depends on the powertrain option chosen by a customer. For Skyactiv-Gasoline engine models, the package is priced at Php 38,250. Meanwhile, Skyactiv-Diesel and BT-50 engine models come with a Php 45,000 price tag.

Included in the 2-year Extended Service Plan package are the costs of the fourth and fifth maintenance services starting from the vehicle’s 70,000 km PMS schedule. A total savings of 15 percent is benefited for those who will avail of the package as compared to the regular PMS rate. The package also comes with free emergency roadside assistance for two more years and merchant-affiliated benefits.

“Owning a brand-new Mazda is not just about enjoying a pleasurable drive experience. It is also about the peace of mind afforded by a premium ownership experience,” shared Mazda Philippines President and CEO Steven Tan.

“Having a complete dealership service record for five years protects a car’s residual value and therefore the customer’s investment. But more than that, the 2-year Extended Service Plan offer is our way to reassure our customers that throughout their Mazda ownership journey, their cars will be in their most optimal condition and will continue to provide reliable service, safety, and performance,” he added.
