We are upset Lamborghini did not call its latest creation the 'Lamboat'

It's basically a floating, luxurious supercar.

This is the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a super yacht that’s powered by two MAN V12 engines that can churn out 2,000 hp. It was developed by Lamborghini together with The Italian Sea Group, and took design cues from the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37 hybrid supercar

It can reach speeds of up to 60 knots

With regards to the name of this brilliant looking yacht, we are rather disappointed that Lamborghini didn’t name it as the "Lamboat". It is shorter and less of a mouthful than its actual name, and it gives it an iron twist (at least for Pinoys), in a sense that the Lamboat, which rhymes with “lambot,” can actually go really hard on the ocean thanks to its two MAN V12 engines.

Kidding aside, the name Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is actually a reference to the company’s founding year, while Tecnomar is a luxury Italian yacht maker, with whom Lamborghini partnered with to make this edgy, and cool looking vessel. Also, it’s 63 feet long.

At 63-feet long, it's 24-ton weight is actually pretty light

But enough dawdling, and let’s take a closer look at the Lamboat…uhhh, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63.

Tecnomar For Lamborghini 63: It ain’t a relaxing cruiser

Now as we’ve said, the highlight of this sea going craft is its twin MAN V12 engines. Yes, it’s that MAN brand which makes trucks.

The aforementioned engines are V12s, and each can make an earthmoving, or rather…ocean stirring 2000 horsepower. This enables the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 to reach an astonishing 60 knots or 111 km/h. Note that this is the ocean, and that kind of speed on water, if we’re being frank, is actually scary fast.

The bow is very familiar isn't it?

Apart from the powerful engines, the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is also a marvel of engineering and design. The interior, especially the cockpit of the yacht is made to look like a car’s cockpit, and a lot of surfaces are actually real carbon fiber.

So besides looking sporty, it only weighs 24 tons, which is surprisingly light for a vessel of its size. In addition, the boat actually has two start/stop buttons identical to the ones on modern Lambos, and the unmistakable Y-shaped lights found on the Lamborghini Sian for its bow lights.

Also, the bow or the “front end” of the boat resembles the usual design found on a Lamborghini car. It’s angular, aero dynamic, and very aggressive looking.

The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 will be available in 2021, and will be a limited edition run. So if you’re a particularly rich guy/gal who has loads of cash to burn, and really loves Lamborghinis, we bet that you’re wanting to find out what it's like to “drive” a Lambo in the ocean.
