Honda Glams Up the Honda Civic 2019 with the Inclusion of Modulo Upgrades

The reveal of the all-new Honda Civic 2019 was paired with the showcasing of various Modulo body kits.

Earlier this year, the Honda Civic 2019 has received styling updates that most car enthusiasts liked. If you think adding a little more fit and flair to the already vamped-up car model is impossible, Honda made it possible for you.

According to the latest car news, the unveiling of the latest Honda Civic was paired with the showcasing of various Modulo body kits that perfectly fits the already polar sedan. Staying true to the Modulo's unique flair, mixing and matching of cosmetic upgrades can be done for both interior and exterior aspects of the car.

One can choose from 3 existing Modulo packages that are available now in the market. These are identified as the Aero, Smart and Aero Sport. Every single kits has its own distinct function and style.

The first package called Aero package served as the basic kit. When you choose this kit, you will be given an under spoiler along with a deeper apron placed in the front, together with a black strip. Plus, you will also have a kit for the rear bumper's corners, adding edges and creaases to the panel. In addition, a couple of uniquely designed side skirts is given to provide a stance that is lower looking.

You will also have a kit for the corners of the rear bumper, adding creases and edges to the panel

The Smart package contains everything that Aero has. In addition, there is a small lip spoiler of the trunk that is added to the basic package. In terms of the Aero Sports kit, the lip spoiler of the trunk that is included on the Aero package is replaced with taller wings.

In terms of the wheels, a different choice from the packages and matched with any of the kits. The Honda Civic 2019 proudly presents a multi-spoke design that comes in the tri-tone or 2-tone finish that you could choose from.

When it comes to the interior kits, the choice between the illuminated or standard scuffs plates, that comes with a special gear selector knob that is leathered. You can also opt to add sports pedals. In the Modulo catalog, there are also other additional options present such as rubber mats that are proven to be heavy-duty, auto-dimming rearview mirror, dashcam, trunk trays, and child seats that are Modulo-branded.

The 2023 Honda Civic is a compact, five-door sedan. It is now in its eleventh-generation. For the Philippine market, the Civic has a price range of Php 1,583,000 to Php 1,775,000. It has three variants consisting of the V Turbo, and the RS Turbo as the top-spec trim. All of them are equipped with the Honda Sensing driver assist safety suite, and all use a 1.5-liter turbocharged VTEC inline-4 gasoline engine capable of making up to 175 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. All trims use a continuously variable transmission (CVT).

Size-wise, the 2023 Civic is 4,678mm long, 1,802mm wide, and 1,415mm in height. It wheelbase length measures 2,735mm long, and it has a ground clearance of 134mm. Competitors of the Honda Civic for the Philippine market includes the likes of the Toyota Corolla Altis, Mazda3, Kia Forte, Nissan Sylphy, among others.
