If you’re looking to get a family-friendly seven-seater MPV, then be aware that the Honda BR-V VX CVT top-spec trim will be offered with special insurance packages until March 31, 2023.
The 2023 Honda BR-V
This was made available to prospective buyers via the continuing partnership between Honda Cars Philippines (HCPI) and AXA Philippines, Standard Insurance, as well as Malayan Insurance. To be more exact, preferential rates for comprehensive insurance services may be available if one buys a Honda equipped with the Honda Sensing driver-assistive safety suite.
So apart from the top-spec BR-V, the said offer is also available for the Honda Civic, the Honda HR-V, as well as the recently launched Honda Civic Type R. Note that this program was started a year ago, and the BR-V VX was added to this offer just this year.

The coverage of the comprehensive vehicle insurance that can be had with preferential rates also covers own damage or theft, acts of nature, voluntary third-party liability or excess bodily injury and/or property damage, and passenger accident (coverage per seat plus medical reimbursements).

If you’re interested in the Honda BR-V VX CVT, note that it retails for Php 1,390,000. For that price, it gets the Honda Sensing safety suite which includes adaptive cruise control, road departure mitigation, lane departure warning, lane keep assist, collision mitigation brake system, auto-high beams, and lead car departure warning.

The 2023 Honda BR-V is a seven-seater compact MPV. It is now in its 2nd-gen version, and it has four different variants in the local market. There’s the top-spec VX honda Sensing priced at 1,390,000, V CVT priced at Php 1,300,000, the S CVT which has a price tag of Php 1,190,000, and the entry-level S MT priced at Php 1,100,000.
Under the hood of the Honda BR-V is a 1.5-liter gasoline inline-4 engine that’s capable of making up to 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque. Sending power to its front wheels is a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
Size-wise, the all-new BR-V is 4,490mm long, 1,780mm wide, and 1,685mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,700mm, and a ground clearance of 207mm.
In the local market, the Honda BR-V competes against the Toyota Avanza, Hyundai Staria, Nissan Livina, Mitsubishi Xpander, among others.
