Geely turned over 2,000 vehicles for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou
Li expressed his gratitude to be part of the Asian Games. “We are thankful to be able to support such as high-level sporting event as an official mobility partner,” he said.
The turned-over units came from Geely Holding’s subsidiary brands including Geely Auto, Lynk & Co., Zeekr, Farizon, and RADAR, among others. The vehicles are equipped with satellite-based high-precision positioning technology supported by the “Geely Future Mobility Constellation.”
The smart premium new energy vehicles will be driven by 2,000 full-time specially-trained drivers from Geely's strategically invested mobility service, CaoCao Mobility.
The units will be used to move participants
Geely said the vehicles will provide support during various activities including the torch relay, marathon, cycling, opening and closing ceremonies, and transportation between venues. The vehicles also allow a sporting event with reduced carbon footprints, fulfilling the brand’s promise of “green, smart, and sustainable.”
“Geely will do its best to provide the best and most technologically advanced mobility service experience to guests from all over the world and friends from all over Asia. We look forward to cheering on athletes coming from far and near at the Asian Games with all the citizens of Zhejiang and Hangzhou,” added Li.
