Ford Ranger Wildtrak offered for as low as P16,700* monthly payment

The Blue Oval brand’s Truck Month promos are in full swing this September.

If you’ve been dreaming of getting a pickup truck, then this month might be your chance. This is because Ford Philippines is bringing back the Truck Month promo which provides attractive offers for the 2023 Ranger. This includes a cash discount for as much as Php 50,000, a Php 98,000 all-in low downpayment deal, or a low monthly of Php 11,111.

According to Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen, the promo coincides with the kick-off of the Christmas season in the Philippines. 

Breen further added that the “Ford Ranger is a well-loved truck in the country. In celebration of its popularity among Filipinos, we are making it accessible for more customers to own a Ranger with Truck Month, where they can enjoy various ownership packages and offers. Now is really the best time to get a Ranger!” 

According to Ford PH, the Ranger is its top-selling model in the first half of 2023. Specifically, the brand has already sold 5,436 units of the pickup truck. This is equivalent to a 25 percent year-on-year increase.

If you’re interested in the Ranger, note that its regular standard retail price ranges from Php 1,249,000 for the entry-level XL to Php 1,910,000 for the top-spec Wildtrak. 

The top-of-the-line trim uses a 2.0-liter Biturbo diesel inline-4 engine which is capable of making up to 207 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. Depending on the variant, it uses a 10-speed automatic gearbox or a six-speed manual transmission. Both the automatic and manual variants are also available in 4x4 or 4x2. 

The Ranger Wildtrak Biturbo 4x4 in particular comes with various advanced driver-assistive safety technologies. This includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous braking, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, reverse brake assist, etc.

Ford Ranger

The 2023 Ford Ranger is a 4x4 or 4x2 pickup truck. It is the latest version of the said model, and as of its launch in the Philippine market, it has a total of eight different variants.

These are the top-spec Wildtrak 4x4, Wildtrak 4x2, Sport 4x4, Sport 4x2, XLT 4x2, XLS 4x2 AT, XLS 4x2 MT, and the entry-level XL 4x4. As of 2023, prices for these trims ranges from php 1,213,000 to Php 1,910,000.

Under the hood of the new Ranger are two-different diesel mills. For the Wildtrak 4x4, it uses a 2.0-liter biturbo that can churn out 210 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. It is also the sole trim that uses a 10-speed automatic tranny.

The rest of the all-new Ranger then gets a 2.0-liter turbodiesel that can produce up to 170 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque. Only the XLS 4x2 and the XL 4x4 may come with a six-speed manual. The other non-biturbo trims then use a six-speed automatic.

Size-wise, the all-new 2023 Ranger is 5,370mm long, 1,918mm wide, and 1,884mm in height. They also offer a wheelbase length of 3,270mm, and a ground clearance of 235mm.

Locally, the 2023 Ford Ranger faces the Toyota Hilux, Nissan Navara, Mitsubishi Strada, Isuzu D-Max, Mazda BT-50, etc.
