According to Ford Philippines’ September 2022 sales figures, the midsize pickup truck managed to sell 1,311 units. This enabled the company to achieve its highest monthly sales record for this year. Following the Ranger are the Territory and next-gen Everest with 812 and 723 units sold, respectively.

The Ford Ranger gets a bolder and more rugged look underscored by its new front fascia. It has similar headlights to the model’s larger pickup sibling, the F-150, which adds an upscale look. Inside, the vehicle can be equipped with a vertical 12-inch touchscreen with SYNC4, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Under the hood, the powertrain options remain the same as the previous generation. The top-of-the-line Wildtrak 4x4 comes exclusive with a 2.0-liter bi-turbo diesel engine that makes 207 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque, while the rest have a 2.0-liter single-turbo diesel engine with 168 horsepower and 405 Nm of torque.

“We thank our customers for their continued patronage of the Ford brand, as well as our dealers for their solid partnership in bringing our vehicles closer to more customers nationwide,” said Ford Philippines Managing Director Mike Breen.

“Launching our next-gen vehicles in the last quarter definitely gave our retail performance a big boost, and we are definitely encouraged to sustain the momentum as we near the end of the year with more exciting offers and services for our customers,” added Breen.
