2022 saw an increase of 2,066 units, or 18.5 percent, as compared to the prior year. Leading the charge was the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region with 5,958 units delivered, followed by the Americas, which delivered 3,447 units. Mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan delivered 1,552 units, while the rest of the APAC (Asia-Pacific) region delivered 2,264 units.

The record-breaking financial report was brought by the Italian automaker’s nine international combustion engine (ICE) models and three hybrid engine models. Ferrari noted that the Portofino M, the SF90 family, and the 812 Competizione led the increase in shipments.

Moreover, the Ferrari 296 is part of the high-demand bunch of the company. Unveiled in June 2021, the 296 is a plug-in hybrid sports car that uses a V6 engine, making it the first road-going Ferrari with six cylinders. This reflects the automaker’s initiative to adapt to the various demands in the global car market.

The Ferrari Purosangue is also another model that is expected to help grow the interest in the brand, which is seen to increase orders in the coming years. Although, the company wants to offer Purosangue with limited shipments worldwide to less than 20 years in a bid to maintain its exclusivity.

“Last year ended with outstanding financial results that met and exceeded our guidance and set new records across all metrics, such as a net profit of Euro 939 million and an industrial free cash flow generation of Euro 758 million,” said Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna.

“We are constantly innovating our products and processes, and getting closer to our decarbonization targets. All this is possible thanks to the collaboration, will to progress, continuous learning, focus, and confidence that set our people apart,” added Vigna.
