Uniquely designed for the internet generation, the bow-tie manufacturer has featured this brand-new Tracker with a sporty exterior in addition to a turbocharged heart.

After making its initial debut at Auto Shanghai 2019, we can see that on the car’s body, it has Z-shaped lines for an angular look which will recall the feeling of dynamic and youthful feelings. This is why users will feel it’s like a dramatic sporty car for the first time to glance at it.

The main color of this car is originally black and red. 2. Chevrolet Tracker: Under the hood

When looking down the hood, this mini SUV has two turbocharged Ecotec engines. The first turbocharged engine is the 1.0-liter 325T three-cylinder which can generate 125 PS and 180 Nm of torque. After that, the engine is connected to either a six-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed manual gearbox.

The other turbocharged engine is made with 1.3-liter 335T inline-three that can construct 164 PS with 240 Nm of torque. Different from the former turbocharged engine, this one is exclusively mated to a variable transmission which can be active continuously.

The bow-tie manufacturer marks that it only takes 8.9 seconds for running from 0 to 100km/h with those engines.

Chevrolet Tracker

The Chevrolet Tracker Philippines 2023 is a subcompact crossover SUV made by General Motors in China and Brazil. It replaces the Trax, in the Philippine market as well as the Chinese market. Despite being sold here, it is actually based on its larger brothers sold in other regions.

For the Philippines, there are two Tracker trims. The entry-level version is the Tracker LS 1.0T AT. It assumes a more subdued crossover look, but it does get some chrome trim pieces. The top-spec model meanwhile is the Tracker LS Redline Edition 1.0 AT. As per its name, it's sportier-looking that the entry-level trim. It features blacked-out parts with contrasting red pieces, a set of black-colored wheels, among others. 

Both variants of the Tracker sold locally use a 1.0-liter turbocharged inline-3 gasoline mill. This engine can make up to 116hp and 175Nm of torque. Power is then sent to the front wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission.

Dimensions-wise, the Tracker is 4,270 mm long, 1,791 mm wide, and 1,627 mm high, with a wheelbase rated at 2,570 mm. Locally, this American subcompact crossover is competing against the likes of the Geely Coolray, Hyundai Kona, and Honda HR-V.
