This accolade was given at the brand’s overseas partner conference.

Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) has been honored with the “Excellence of Service” award. This was given to Changan’s local distributor by the Changan International Corporation (CIC) at the brand’s 2023 Overseas Partner Conference held in China.

This is CMPI’s very first commendation from CIC, and present at the awards ceremony to receive the award was CMPI President and CEO Maria Fe Perez-Agudo.

In a statement, Agudo said that CMPI is honored and grateful for this achievement. The award from CIC confirms CMPI’s “proof beyond vision” principle, and it also serves to drive the company further forward in providing quality service which helps in enhancing the car ownership experience for their clients.

The award likewise signifies CMPI’s preparedness in pitching in to further Changan Global’s overseas expansion strategy. With regards to this, Agudo says that the brand has already pressed the “fast-forward button,” and CMPI in turn, will be working hard to turn this plan into reality in this region.

According to CMPI, it saw a 221 percent growth in sales in the first quarter of 2023. The company then stated that this was driven by the all-new CS35 Plus crossover and the Alsvin sedan.

Changan’s presence in the Philippine market was also expanded to a large degree thanks to its dealership openings. As of this writing, it now has 18 dealerships nationwide with more to come in the near future. This is then backed by the brand’s online presence, as well as its growing community of 40 car clubs.

There’s also the brand’s Vital 5 after-sales program, which provides a 5-year mileage warranty (or 150,000 kilometers), a guaranteed 60-minute preventive maintenance service, and a 24/7 customer care hotline.

Other cars sold by CMPI include the CS55 Plus, the CS75 Plus, CS95, the Eado EV, the Uni-K, and the Uni-T. Of note, the latter two models were the highlight of the brand’s booth at the 2023 Manila International Motor Show.
