The Changan CS35 Plus is a subcompact crossover that underwent a refresh earlier this year. It now boasts a more stylish exterior design highlighted by the full-width daytime running lights (DRLs) at the front. Similar to the Changan CS75 Plus, the facelift version gets red accents on the exterior, giving a sportier appearance.

The Changan CS35 Plus is a subcompact five-seater crossover. For the Philippine market, this model has three variants. These are the Lite, Hype, and Luxe. Prices for these range from Php 1,109,000 to Php 1,259,000.
Under the hood, the CS35 Plus uses a 1.4-liter turbo inline-4 gasoline engine that can make up to 160 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its front wheels via a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission.
Size-wise, the 2024 Changan CS35 Plus is 4,335mm long, 1,825mm wide, and 1,660mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,600mm.

Changan CS35 Plus Launch
Initially, the current generation of the 2024 Changan CS35 Plus was first launched in China. Later on in March 2022, Changan Philippines brought in this updated crossover.
Changan CS35 Plus Exterior
On the outside, the facelifted CS35 Plus gets a more aggressive front fascia with a much larger grille. It also received a new set of 18-inch wheels, as well as new LED taillights.
For equipment, the exterior of the CS35 Plus gets a pair of LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps, a shark fin antenna, a panoramic sunroof, a power tailgate, among others.
Its default cargo capacity sits at 403 liters, but this can be increased up to 950 liters with the rear seats folded down.

The CS35 Plus can seat up to five occupants. Its seats are wrapped in two-tone leather, and it also offers plenty of soft-touch surfaces.
For the driver, this model provides a multi-function flat-bottom steering wheel.

For entertainment, the Changan CS35 Plus is kitted out with a 10-inch touchscreen with Bluetooth, and smartphone mirroring. Besides that, this model also comes with wireless smartphone charging. It also comes with a digital gauge cluster.
For passive safety, the CS35 Plus comes with six airbags. It also has ISOFIX child seat tethers, anti-lock braking, stability control, etc. A tire pressure monitor is also present for this model.
Supporting those features is a collection of active safety technologies. Included among these is an autonomous emergency braking system, front collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.

The Changan CS35 Plus is a front-engine, front-wheel-drive subcompact crossover. For the front, it uses a MacPherson strut suspension system. The rear meanwhile uses a torsion beam-type suspension. Braking is then handled by disc brakes for all four wheels.

For power, the CS35 Plus utilizes a 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. This mill can make up to 160 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its front wheels through a seven-speed wet-type dual-clutch gearbox.
