Changan Motor Philippines, Inc. (CMPI) is bringing the CS35 Plus closer to Filipinos with the “Flex in the City” Mall Display tour.

With the tour, you can get to know more about the Changan CS35 Plus and the features the model offers for its enticing price. It will be on display at select malls in Metro Manila starting this Friday, September 30, 2022. For your reference, here is the list of “Flex in the City” venues:

The Changan CS35 Plus is a subcompact crossover that underwent a refresh earlier this year. It now boasts a more stylish exterior design highlighted by the full-width daytime running lights (DRLs) at the front. Similar to the Changan CS75 Plus, the facelift version gets red accents on the exterior, giving a sportier appearance.
One of the most noteworthy features of the crossover is its advanced SafeTech system. This above-class equipment offers Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) and Front Collision Warning (FCW). It also gets an Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), which is perfect for going on long road trips conveniently.

Moreover, the CS35 Plus managed to register a 21.49 km/l highway fuel consumption rating in a fuel eco test run conducted by the Automotive Association of the Philippines (AAP). Meanwhile, in the city, the crossover returned 15.254 km/l. Amid the high fuel prices, the importance of a fuel-efficient vehicle like the CS35 Plus is underscored.

The company is offering the crossover in three variants, with a price that ranges from Php 999,000 for the base Lite 1.4L 7DCT to Php 1,169,000 for the top-spec Luxe 1.4L 7DCT.

The Changan CS35 Plus is a subcompact five-seater crossover. For the Philippine market, this model has three variants. These are the Lite, Hype, and Luxe. Prices for these range from Php 1,039,000 to Php 1,209,000.
Under the hood, the CS35 Plus uses a 1.4-liter turbo inline-4 gasoline engine that can make up to 160 horsepower and 260 Nm of torque. Power is then sent to its front wheels via a seven-speed wet-type dual clutch transmission.
Size-wise, the 2023 Changan CS35 Plus is 4,335mm long, 1,825mm wide, and 1,660mm in height. It also has a wheelbase length of 2,600mm.
Locally, the Changan CS35 Plus competes against the likes of the Geely Coolray, Volkswagen T-Cross, Toyota Raize, MG ZS, Ford EcoSport, Kia Stonic, etc.
