According to latest car news from our neighboring country, the all-new Mazda CX-5 2017 will be available in totally five variants: 2.0G 2WD GLS, 2.0G 2WD GL, 2.5G 2WD GLS, 2.2D AWD GLS and 2.2D 2WD GLS. All variants will come with a three-year/60,000 km or five-year/100,000 km warranty.
Let’s start with the base trim 2.0G 2WD. Both GLS and GL guises of the 2.0G 2WD are powered by a 2.0L 5-cylinder SkyActiv-G petrol engine pushing out 162 hp and a peak torque of 210 Nm, mated to a 6-speed SkyActiv-Drive automatic gearbox.

Higher-end 2.5G 2WD GLS model uses a 192 hp/257 Nm 2.5L 4-cylinder SkyActiv-G engine paired with the same gearbox as the 2.0G 2WD.
As for the top-of-the-line 2.2D AWD, it will be propelled by a 2.2 litre SkyActiv-D engine which is capable of 173 hp and 420 Nm. Particularly, this top-spec features all-wheel drive system.

Remember that if you want to opt for Metallic finishes, you must pay an extra RM400 (P4,845). Besides, Machine Grey, Snowflake Pearl White and Soul Red will be optional with around RM2,000 (P24,226). Apart from that, leather seats (RM2,900 - P35,127) and satellite navigation system (RM1,270 - P15,383) are exclusively added to the entry-level 2.0G 2WD GL as options.
