While the all-new Ford Ranger has yet to introduce its capabilities and features to Filipinos, we at Philkotse.com, along with other media personalities, were invited to try out the next-gen truck in Thailand.

Philkotse Content Manager Jacob Oliva shared that the Ranger has set the bar higher for lifestyle trucks. It offers an exceptional off-road capability while showcasing a more masculine-looking design. These are some of the characteristics buyers can take into account when considering the new pickup truck.

Under the hood, the Blue Oval company revealed that the upcoming model will be powered by either a 2.0-liter Bi-turbo engine with a 10-speed automatic transmission or a 2.0-liter single turbo engine with a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.

Other confirmed features include a new seat design, a 10- or 12-inch vertical touchscreen, new driver assistance technologies such as a 360-degree camera, and SYNC 4A with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

“The huge anticipation towards the next-gen Ranger is truly gaining around – from the positive feedback we’re seeing on social media and getting from our dealers, partners, and employees, so we’re starting our launch festivities on a high note by kicking off reservations ahead of our local reveal,” added Breen.
