As for powertrain, remember that the new Suzuki Swift Sport no longer uses the naturally aspirated 1.6-liter engine. Instead, it will be powered by Suzuki’s latest turbocharged 1.4-liter Boosterjet unit which can crank out 138 hp and 220 Nm of torque. This new engine is also presented under the hood of the Vitara. It will work in conjunction with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
