2020 Feast of the Black Nazarene: Which roads will be closed?
If you aren’t living under a massive rock, then you might already know of the Feast of the Black Nazarene. It’s a pretty big event with thousands in attendance and it involves a very well attended procession so a couple of roads around Manila, Metro Manila might not be viable for motor vehicle traffic from January 8 to January 9.
"Very well attended" is an understatement
As such, the Manila Police District Traffic Enforcement Unit announced which roads will be closed to make way for the said event.
Note though that the closure of these said roads will depend on many factors but the said Catholic religious event itself is slated to start at 5:30 A.M. of Thursday. However, we can expect that some roads will already be closed as early as Wednesday evening.
