Further enhance your off-roading adventure with the new diesel variant.

Mercedes-Benz Philippines wants to further enhance your off-road adventures with the introduction of the 2020 G 350d, a G-Class model equipped with a diesel engine.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class car has been around since 1979, giving fans a taste of the German engineering marvel in the form of an off-roading vehicle. Even after 40 years, the G-Class still kept its unique, iconic, and timeless design.

The 2020 G 350d is said to be an efficient G-Class diesel variant that intends to deliver excellent performance, modern safety and driver assist systems, as well as notable handling.

As such, powering the local-spec 2020 G 350d is a 2.9-liter in-line 6-cylinder diesel engine capable of producing 286 hp and a whopping 600 Nm of torque. The diesel engine is paired to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission with a torque converter. If you want a classic model of the brand, here we have a selection of used Mercedes-Benz 300D for sale that might meet your needs.

To cope up with its diesel nature, the new G 350d’s engine is coupled with efficient emission reduction. This optimizes the efficiency of the catalytic converter and the diesel particulate filter.

Moreover, its near-engine insulated configuration helps the emission control system to have little heat loss and operate in ideal conditions.

Mercedes-Benz says the G 350d provides a great driving experience with its Dynamic Select tech. This feature comes with five drive modes that modify the characteristics of the engine, transmission, suspension, and steering, depending on the driver’s need.
