The Nissan Terra 2018 was first caught in China at the beginning of this year and said to have a petrol engine but the ASEAN version, instead, welcomes a 2.5L 4-cylinder turbodiesel unit which doles out 190 HP/450 Nm from 2,000 rpm. What’s more, the YD25DDTi oil burner equipped with the variable-geometry turbocharger (VGT) is channeled to a 7-speed torque converter auto transmission that comes with manual mode, or a 6-speed manual.
The carmaker provides with options of AWD or 2WD versions. With the AWD versions, customers will be sitting on a model with 22-mm ground clearance which is the best in the class. Not only the impressive ground clearance, it is also the cargo space which is claimed to be the best in the segment as well (measuring 1,865 mm wide, 4,895 mm long with a 2,850-mm wheelbase). To compare with its rival, the Toyota Fortuner, the Terra is 10 mm wider and 105 mm longer.
