Kia has brought to the 2018 New York Auto Show lots of highlights, from the redesign of the K900 flagship sedan to the sporty Stinger. Among these, though with only a small update of new tech and equipment, the Kia Optima 2019 still knows how to step out of other models’ shadows.
While receiving minor changes, the 2019 Optima still manages to give us some clues with fresh wheel styles and a new Passion Red cover choice. The model puts on Stinger-styled LED daytime-running lights (S models, especially, gets new fog lamps in a pinched front fascia), various sleek black trim in the grille and side sill designs, and LED taillights. The EX trim level comes equipped with a new ambient interior lighting choice and new leather seats. On the other hand, the SX uses Euro-styled 2-tone black/red leather seats. In addition, the SXL earns a new 2-tone black/bronze Nappa-leather interior.
