“Select Plus” version of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport has made its debut in Indian market, priced at INR 2,860,000 (₱ 2,208,290).
The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is known as one of the oldest cars in India. In order to keep up with the competition in its segment, Mitsubishi has silently introduced a new variant of the Pajero Sport, dubbed the “Select Plus” with some noticeable changes.

The Mitsubishi Pajero Sport “Select Plus” measures 4,695 mm in length, 1,815 mm in width, 1,840 mm in height and a wheelbase of 2,800 mm with 215-mm ground clearance. The 7-seater SUV for sale comes with dual-tone exterior colors, it is available in four color combinations: black and white, black and red, black and yellow and black and silver.

Up front, the car features HID projector headlights, LED daytime running lights, the black grille and a new set of 17-inch alloy wheels. Other details like the front bumper guard, wheel arches and roof rails are all highlighted in a glossy black. Also, the SUV also gets chrome ORVMs with electrical adjustment and electrical retract, chrome door handles and chrome license plate garnish.

Up front, the car features HID projector headlights, LED daytime running lights and the black grille.

Inside, the new “Select Plus” is furnished with “Mitsubishi Motors” illuminated scuff plates, the cruise control and DVD player behind front headrests. Moreover, sporty beige leather seats, leather-wrapped steering wheel, multi-way power adjustable driver seat and 6-speaker infotainment system with navigation system are also available.
There are no changes to the engine, which means that the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport “Select Plus” will be pushed by a 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel unit, producing 176hp at 4,000 rpm and 350 Nm of torque at 1,800 rpm. This power is fed to all wheels through a 5-speed manual transmission or the INVECS-II 5-speed automatic transmission.
