The turbocharged Hyundai Veloster 2019 has finally made its way to the Philippine market at Manila Internaltional Auto Show - MIAS 2018 with a glossier look, featuring a more aerodynamic exterior and a more driver-focused cabin.
For starter, the all-new Veloster get a more striking front fascia and a shinier rear but it still keeps the iconic design of the predecessor. It features a fresh cascading grille and redesigned headlamps. Meanwhile, the rear is adorned with revised taillights which look sharper than before. Speaking of the car’s size, the Veloster 2019 measures 4240mm in length, 1800mm in width and 1409mm in height.

Getting inside, the driver-oriented cabin comes equipped with a new dual gauge cluster placed in front of the motorist’s seat and a 3-spoke leather steering wheel. Besides, the package is also offered a fresh touchscreen infotainment system, power adjustable seat for the driver, power side mirrors, paddle shifters, automatic climate control system and trip computer.

The Hyundai Veloster 2019 is powered by a 1.6L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine which is capable of cranking out 201 hp and 264 Nm of torque, mated to a 7-speed dual clutch transmission.
In addition to the turbocharged engine, the Veloster also gets a fresh multi-link rear suspension which is also used in the Elantra GT. With a faster steering ratio, the Veloster 2019 will showcase a sharper handling capacity and a more accurate steering control.
