Modena Motorsports, Inc. President Sam Versoza said that the Grecale SUV “ushers in a luxurious new standard for its class.” He added that the company is “elated to deliver Grecale to our shores, and with it, a new driving experience that takes the elegance, style, and performance of a Maserati to a bold, new direction.”

Exterior

The Maserati Grecale GT and Trofeo variants were showcased during the launch held at the Samsung Hall in SM Aura Premier. In terms of dimensions, the GT trim measures 4,846mm long, 1,948mm wide, and 1,670mm high along with a wheelbase of 2,901mm.

The front end features a sleek and confident stance that’s highlighted by the wide low-slung grille, which also houses Maserati’s trident at the center. The Grecale also comes with sweptback LED headlights with daytime running lights, adding character to the SUV’s front end. It also has a large bumper that’s accented by a honeycomb pattern.

The sleek design approach is further seen on the Grecale’s side profile. The fender flares smoothly blend into the vehicle, which makes the GT trim’s 20-inch alloy wheels stand out. Of note, the Trofeo variant gets a set of 21-inch alloy wheels.

The rear features a bold finish that’s highlighted by a wide tailgate and distinctive wraparound LED taillights inspired by Giugiaro 3200 GT. It also comes with a third brake light, a rear diffuser, and quad exhaust pipes.

Interior

The 2024 Maserati Grecale comes with a premium and modern interior layout. Aside from the abundant screens fitted to the front cabin, avid Maserati enthusiasts or owners will most likely notice the digital clock on the dashboard.

This is the first time that Maserati upgraded the traditional, mechanical timepiece. Aside from telling the time, the digital clock can also acknowledge voice commands with a response signal and incorporates both compass and G-force meter functions.

Soft-touch materials filled the cabin, which is expected for a premium vehicle. The Grecale also doesn’t come with the conventional gear lever as it comes with a push operation. The gear selector is located below the infotainment touchscreen.

It also gets flat silver trims to add accent to the interior as well as a D-shaped steering wheel, and paddle shifters. To exit the vehicle, one has to push the button that’s placed on the side armrest. This design detail replaces the traditional door handle, making the cabin design more seamless.

The Maserati Grecale also comes with leather seats and can accommodate up to five individuals.

Tech & Safety

As mentioned earlier, the Grecale comes with several screens, which makes the cabin clutter-free as most vehicle controls are now actuated by touch. It has a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster placed in front of the driver’s view along with another 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen at the center. Then there’s an 8.8-inch screen below the infotainment, which features climate control functions.

The Grecale can either come with a 14- or 21-speaker Sonus Faber 3D sound system. It also has the Maserati Vehicle Dynamic Control Module (VDCM) and up to five different drive modes: Comfort, GT, Sport, Corsa (Trofeo only), and Off-Road.

Engine & Drivetrain

The Maserati Grecale GT trim is equipped with a 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged gasoline engine with a mild hybrid engine that puts out 300 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque.

The Modena variant, on the other hand, also comes with the same power unit mentioned above but it can generate up to 330 hp. The Grecale Modena is available for indent orders.

Meanwhile, the Grecale Trofeo has a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine that delivers 530 hp and 620 Nm of torque, with a claimed top speed of 285 km/h. Of note, the fully electric Grecale Folgore will arrive soon.

Pricing

The 2024 Maserati Grecale retails at a starting price of Php 8,500,000 (GT variant). Maserati Philippines did not announce the pricing for the other Grecale variants.
