XPro One is another weapon for your zombie apocalypse arsenal

Updated Feb 16, 2022 | Same topic: Automotive Industry Updates

It’s tough, it’s rugged, and it can protect a crew of up to three people.

You’re probably not the only one with nightmares about an entire city overrun by the undead, thanks to the Korean zombie series All Of Us Are Dead on Netflix. But rest assured that the automotive industry is preparing for this eventuality, among them Polish aftermarket tuning company Xpedition Pro with its Xpro One rig.

XPRO One - 4x4 RV Camper

The military-inspired overlander uses an Iveco Daily 4x4 commercial vehicle as its base, with a camouflage paint scheme on its robust rear cabin made of 54mm-thick reinforced laminate panels. There are sharp lines and angles that seemingly draw parallelisms with the F-117 Nighthawk, although we seriously doubt that the Xpro One possesses the same stealth capabilities.

The Xpro One is ready to go up against the undead

There’s room inside for you and two other companions to shut yourself in against hordes of brain-eaters. While it isn’t exactly the lap of luxury, the Xpro One’s cabin has amenities that are serviceable enough. They include a kitchenette with working sink and two-burner stove, an onboard refrigerator, plus separate toilet and shower areas.

Sleeping quarters are available on an alcove above the cab, as well as the sitting area towards the rear of the cabin. In case there’s a lull in zombie-related activity, you can use the pull-out gas grille on the vehicle’s exterior, accompanied by storage panels that can hold your gear.

That is one extreme departure angle

A pair of 200-liter tanks can be used for water supply, and two 160-amp-hour lithium-ion batteries provide power. The Xpro One can also be outfitted with solar panels in case you’re in the middle of nowhere.

It might not be a good idea to have powerful LED exterior lighting for the front and rear, given how zombies are attracted to lights as well as sounds. Then again, anyone foolish enough to get close will be turned to mush by your mobile meat grinder, with 37-inch tires spun by a 3.0-liter diesel engine rated at 177 horsepower and 430 Nm of torque.

There's enough room inside for three people to survive zombie rampages

The Xpro One comes in 3,400mm, 3,780mm, and 4,175mm wheelbase lengths. No word on pricing yet, but only because Xpedition Pro also provides a range of options for customers to personalize their own motorhome. That zombie apocalypse can’t come soon enough.
