Volkswagen Philippines is looking to close the year by bringing back to customers through cash discounts and flexible payment schemes. One of the models that could be your next road partner coming into the holiday season is the Lamando.

Up for grabs until December 31, 2022, the two Volkswagen Lamando variants come with a cash discount of Php 125,000 each. This means that the 280 TSI DSG SE and 280 TSI DSG SEL are offered with discounted suggested retail prices (SRPs) of Php 1,494,000 and Php 1,628,000, respectively.
For the price, you get to drive an executive-looking compact sedan with standard features such as LED headlights with LED daytime running lights (DRLs), a panoramic sunroof, and 17-inch alloys. Opt for the top-spec SEL and you get interior amenities including leather sport seats with perforation, a larger 9.2-inch head unit, and heater functions for the front seats.
A 1.4-liter inline-4 turbocharged gasoline engine is standard across the board, making 148 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. It sends power to the front wheels via a 7-speed DSG transmission, which is the German car brand’s version of a dual-clutch gearbox. For a more relaxing drive, the Lamando SEL offers Adaptive Cruise Control.

One of the reasons why you should consider the Lamando as per Volkswagen Philippines is its unified global engineering. It means that every Volkswagen vehicle in the country bears the same quality build as those produced in VW’s global headquarters in Wolfsburg, Germany. This includes units produced at its three other global manufacturing and assembly hubs in China, Brazil, and India.
If you don’t fancy paying in full, the Volkswagen Lamando is also available with monthly amortization deals for as low as Php 26,668 and Php 29,250 for the SE and SEL, respectively. These deals are made possible through financing with the company’s partner banks BPI, RCBC, Security Bank, and PS Bank.
