Uber has teamed up with SnapChat to launch new custom SnapChat filters.

In good news for Uber addict, you will not hail just any other ordinary Uber ride but you will hail a ride in utmost style. Ride-sharing app Uber has announced that it will introduce a unique integration with ephemeral messaging giant Snapchat in the ride’s mobile app.

With the integration, Uber users will now be able to send snaps with their contacts during their ride on Uber.

To access this new feature, riders need to be existing SnapChat users and on an Uber. While on the ride, they will see a SnapChat card on their Uber feed. They then need to select the filter they want to unlock, take their selfie, and send away. They can also see the Uber filter with other SnapChat lenses for double the fun.

The Uber filters available to riders in our country include: estimated time of arrival (pictured above), ride type, a mystery filter, a commute filter that's available on weekdays during rush hours, and Monday grind/TGIF filters for those essential days of the week.

The SnapChat custom filters will be made available on both Android and iOS platform. To keep in mind, Uber riders can use this new feature on the Uber app only if they are existing Snapchat users.
