Suzuki has hatched a plot for a facelift version of the Suzuki Vitara 2019. The SUV will come with a couple of new powertrains that go along with a slightly revamped exterior and new safety features.
The 2019 facelifted version will for the first time welcome a 1L Boosterjet turbocharged petrol powerplant and from what we can see from the facelifted S-Cross, this engine is good for 115 PS. The 1L turbocharged unit is going to come standard on the SZ-T and SZ4 trims. Another engine is the 1.4L engine for the SZ5 which is capable of 140 PS/220 Nm between 1,500 and 4,000 rpm.

The carmaker keeps close-mouthed about any details on the transmissions of the Suzuki Vitara 2019 facelift but we’ve got high hopes it the S-Cross will be the source of inspiration which come standard with a 5-speed manual for the 1L engine, a 6-speed on the 1.4L and a 6-speed AT for both. AllGrip AWD come available on the SZ-T which is of the manual transmission.

The Suzuki Vitara 2019 facelift welcomes a soft-touch dashboard
The most expected part comes from the safety features that include rear cross traffic alert, Blind Spot Monitor, Traffic Sign Recognition, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention, and Dual Sensor Brake Support in the SZ5.
Subtle breezes of change join the front with an upper grille now having 6 vertical bars and LED daytime running lights with chrome surrounds. The lower grille has been revised to get rid of its silver surround. To add beauty to the facelift, there also come new LED taillights, soft-touch dashboard, new colored multi-information display, and a newly-introduced alloy wheel design.
