Rezvani Vengeance combines tough SUV exterior with refined interior

Its elegant-looking cabin brings military-grade options.

Like many niche automakers, Rezvani Motors markets products for a very specific (and loaded) clientele. Its latest creation, the Vengeance three-row SUV, is no exception, offering refined interior accommodations wrapped in a rugged package.

Rezvani Vengeance

The Vengeance is the latest creation from Rezvani Motors

It's rare for a rough and ready vehicle to come with a cabin that doesn’t look like something you’ll find on a troop carrier, yet the Vengeance impresses on that front since it uses a Cadillac Escalade as a base. The leather seats could be mistaken for those on a mass-produced model, complete with second-row captain’s chairs facing dual monitors mounted on the front headrests.

The feature list even reads like typical marketing material for any mainstream brand, ranging from a panoramic sunroof and rain-sensing wipers to an OLED instrument cluster and infotainment display linked to 19 AKG Studio Sound speakers. There’s even wireless charging and NFC phone pairing, in addition to onboard USB ports.

One can easily mistake the interior as belonging to any mainstream car brand

Zoom out to the Vengeance’s exterior and you’ll find a heavily sculpted design that easily makes it pass for an assault vehicle. The chunky overlapping panels are accompanied by LED lighting, with recessed units on the hood’s leading edge apart from the main headlamps. These are joined by a roof-mounted light bar and a high-mounted red LED strip on top of the hands-free power tailgate.

If you think that the Vengeance doesn’t get any more loaded than this, you couldn’t be more wrong. Rezvani is throwing in an optional Military Package for its beastly model, and it’s every bit as impressive as it sounds. For one thing, there’s the more familiar bulletproof glass and body armor, along with military-grade run-flat tires and siren options.

An optional Military Package brings electrified door handles, ballistic gear for occupants, and electromagnetic pulse shielding

There are more outlandish inclusions too, such as magnetic deadbolts and electrified door handles to prevent unauthorized entry. The Vengeance can also dispense pepper spray presumably for crowd control purposes, and it even comes with electromagnetic pulse (EMP) shielding to electronic systems from nuclear or multiple EMP attacks. Rezvani says that the EMP protection has been tested to exceed military standards.

Occupants can also find body armor equipment and military-grade gas masks on board, along with first aid and hypothermia kits. The Vengeance can also release a smoke screen to evade pursuers.

All that hardware can’t be easy to lug around, which is why Rezvani offers a choice of three power units for the Vengeance. There’s a 6.2-liter direct-injection V8 gasoline engine producing 420 horsepower and 623 Nm of torque, plus a 3.0-liter Duramax turbo inline-6 rated at 277 horsepower with the same torque output.

The Vengeance comes with three engine options

Meanwhile, a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 rules the engine options with 690 horsepower and 888 Nm of pull. Customers can get four-wheel-drive as an option, that works with a 10-speed automatic transmission

The standard configuration of Rezvani Vengeance starts at $249,000 (Php 14.68 million), while the fully-loaded version could potentially breach $600,000 (over Php 35 million). For those with deep pockets, the eye-watering cost could be chump change compared to having peace of mind, especially in these times.
