A sustainable ride that’s fairly beefy output-wise.

After a four-year wait, BMW Philippines has finally returned to the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). Understandably, many are looking forward to this, but also adding to the novelty of the occasion is the appearance of the all-new BMW iX electric crossover at the brand’s pavilion during the said event.

For those who missed it, the BMW iX was already formally launched locally. This model is also an important model for the German brand since it is its latest BMW i sub-brand model and so its appearance at the 2022 PIMS is crucial for the brand.

SMC Asia Car Distributors Corporation, the managing entity and the official importer and distributor of BMW for the local market itself, has gone on to highlight the iX’s importance since the company sees this model as one of the long-term solutions to sustainable transport.

Spencer Yu, the President of SMC Asia Car Distributors Corp. said that the iX is a glimpse of future electrified BMWs yet to come for the Philippine market. It’s a vision of a greener future if you will.
