The Omoda 5 EV features a modern-looking exterior design that’s highlighted by crisp character lines. The front end comes with an assertive demeanor due to the vehicle’s light cluster design as well as the angular bumper. The side profile features a streamlined look courtesy of the distinctive character lines.
The car brand shared that the Omoda 5 EV will be offered with a wide selection of exterior and interior color options. This includes seven “vibrant and dynamic” exterior colors and three interior color-matching designs.
Inside, the Omoda 5 EV is equipped with a 12.3-inch curved screen, which is said to provide users with intelligent travel guidance. Previously, Omoda mentioned that the Omoda 5 crossover will come with dual 10.25-inch screens. The upcoming EV is also integrated with the car brand’s 5.0 human-machine interface system that aims to give an immersive technological experience for drivers and passengers.

The Omoda 5 EV also has up to 10 driving modes: camping, energy-saving, sobering, warming up, cooling, welcoming, karaoke, haze, pets, and starting. The wide selection of driving modes is meant to give smarter and more convenient drives. The EV also has a fatigue monitoring system to further ensure safer drives.
The car brand’s EIC technology, on the other hand, is designed to deliver low energy consumption and high endurance. Omoda said that the 5 EV has a low power consumption of only 15KWh/100KM. It also has a range of up to 450 kilometers on a single charge. Previously, Omoda said that the 5 EV is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor that delivers 201 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque.
The battery can be charged up to 80 percent within 35 minutes, and the Omoda 5 EV is also equipped with the Vehicle-To-Load (V2L) technology, which enables the battery’s stored energy to power external devices.
It comes with an advanced driver assistance system
Omoda Philippines confirmed that the Omoda 5 EV will come with a five-year (200,000 km) vehicle warranty once it is launched in the local market. The battery, motor, and electric control system will then be offered an eight-year (200,000 km) warranty coverage.
In terms of safety, the Omoda 5 scored a five-star safety rating at the European New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP). The Omoda 5 EV comes with an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) that features up to 17 driving assistance functions.
