If you like cars, it is highly probable that you admire the Nissan GT-R. And despite its age, it's still quite a performance beast that deserves the “Godzilla” nickname. More recently though, rumors have been coming out about the next version. So, what will a new GT-R look like? Well, a UK-based designer has stepped up and made his own vision of the future Godzilla.

Roman Miah, the designer in question, didn’t just pull this one out of his imagination though. Instead, he took the several hints that were provided by a number of Nissan executives regarding the upcoming GT-R R36.
Specifically, Nissan design Senior Vice President Alfonso Albaisa has previously said that the car would be “muscular”, and it would retain a “beastly” front end. It was further added that the upcoming sports car should be “imposing and excessive”. Albaisa also said that it will likely be a “brick”, but it would be the “world’s fastest brick.”
A view of its rear
Miah partnered up with Avante Design, and it took six months to craft their vision. The result is an R36 concept car that’s quite reminiscent of the old R34 GT-R, whilst mixing in some elements from the R35.
The render even displays boxy headlamps, as well as a shapely hood showered with an abundance of deep angular lines.

From the sides, one can see that the designer preferred a quieter-looking set of TE37-style wheels. Its side skirts, though, are quite sizable. There’s also this huge vent just after the front tire. The silhouette is still similar to the current R35, but the rear end appears flatter.
Speaking of the rear end, the nod to the R34 GT-R continues with its four-piece round-shaped set of taillights. It also has dual exhaust tips, a huge diffuser to mirror the look of the front, as well as a large wing up top.
The quiet but sporty TE37-style wheels provides a good contrast to the agressive-looking concept vehicle
So, what do you think of the Roman Miah x Avante Design Nissan R36 GT-R concept? Does it really capture the look of a “beast?”
