Motor Image Pilipinas, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Subaru vehicles in the country, has introduced a new variant of the Subaru Forester for 2021 called the GT Lite Edition. The Forester GT Lite Edition is ideal for those who are opting for the top-of-the-line GT Edition but at a relatively affordable price.
New 2021 Subaru Forester GT Lite Edition: Same Sporty Look
The distinctive GT Edition exterior features are still included in the GT Lite Edition such as the GT Edition roof spoiler, front and rear lip extensions, side skirts, and exhaust tailpipe cutter. However, the GT Lite Edition doesn’t come with the GT Edition 18-inch alloy wheels that are only available for the top variant.

Inside, the GT Lite Edition doesn’t get the GT Edition leather seats from the top variant. It is instead equipped with the same leather seats as the 2.0i-L and 2.0i-S variants. Moreover, the power-sliding large glass sunroof is also not available on the GT Lite Edition.
All Forester variants are installed with the same 8-inch infotainment screen with a navigation function. But only the top-spec GT Edition offers both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The GT Lite Edition still gets the same leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio remote control switches.
Subaru Philippines offers all Forester variants with the same safety features as standard. Some of which include a full set of airbags, brake assist system, brake override, and the EyeSight Driver Assist Technologies which provides advanced driver assistance system features.

The Subaru Forester GT Lite Edition sits in between the base 2.0i-L variant and the 2.0i-S variant, with the GT Edition as the top-of-the-line variant. The price of the GT Lite Edition is Php 1,980,000, which is Php 190,000 less than the GT Edition.
