As Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) is celebrating its 60th anniversary in the country this year, the company has been rolling out initiatives to reach more customers. The latest is the opening of a new dealership in Iligan City, Lanao Del Norte, Mindanao.
Mitsubishi opens a new dealership in Iligan
The new facility is led by Mizukawa Motors Corporation. It is responsible for ensuring that car buyers in the area will get to know more about the Japanese car brand.
“Thank you Mizukawa group for fulfilling our brand’s promise of making Mitsubishi cars more accessible to all, more opportunity for us to making life better for all Filipinos,” said MMPC President and CEO Takeshi Hara.
Situated on a 4,000 sqm. lot in one of Iligan’s well-developed areas, the new dealership is built with as much as 18 car bays for different requirements including preventive maintenance service (PMS). It also comes with a 4-car display showroom, which will showcase Mitsubishi's models in the Philippine lineup.
Some of these include the Mitsubishi Mirage G4, Montero Sport, and Strada. The company is also offering the Xpander Cross facelift, which comes with a more rugged look and improved tech including the addition of an Active Yaw Control (AYC).
Mitsubishi Xpander Cross
For Iliganons who are looking for a workhorse vehicle, MMPC has the Mitsubishi L300. It is a light commercial vehicle that has been with Filipinos throughout the years. Powering this vehicle is a 2.2-liter inline-4 diesel engine capable of generating 98 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. Drivers have to work their way around using a 5-speed manual gearbox.
