While fans of Mitsubishi’s Ralliart are still waiting for the perfect model worthy of the name, the automaker has opted to use its racing brand as a line of exterior accessories across four of its models.
Four models in Mitsubishi's Japanese lineup will receive the Ralliart treatment
In a press release, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation (MMC) said that the Ralliart accessories will be offered on the Outlander and Eclipse Cross compact crossovers, RVR subcompact crossover, and Delica:5 minivan, all of which are sold in Japan.
The Outlander will come with a garnish package comprising a front skid garnish, side under garnish, and 3-piece garnish set for the rear bumper. Mudflaps and side decals are included, as well as a spoiler for the tailgate. Two types of floor mats will be available, one for the 5-seater variant and another for the 7-seater version.
Standard in the collection are side decals, mudflaps, garnishes, and spoilers
A Ralliart styling package will also come on the Eclipse Cross, with front under garnish, side extension, and rear under garnish 3-piece set. The spoiler, decals, and mud flaps are likewise on offer, accompanied by floor mats for the interior.
The RVR will boast the Ralliart skid package as well, but without accessories for the sides. A front skid plate plus 2-piece rear skid plate set gives the subcompact crossover a more aggressive look, coupled with the spoiler and side decals.
Not even the Delica:5’s boxy design is stopping it from getting the Ralliart treatment, too. The vehicle will be available with a fog lamp garnish, blacked-out front under garnish, and 3-piece rear under garnish set. Aside from the standard mudguards, decals, spoiler, and floor mats, it also gets covers for the exterior mirrors.
The accessories make even the Delica:5 look fast
Model-specific enhancements are not the only ones on offer, with MMC retailing common accessories as well from its catalog. Among these are a dark chrome license plate frame, set of three plate bolts, blacked-out wheel lock nut and lug nut set, and a special cover for the engine start button. There’s even a folding container box for the driver, aside from wearables such as fleece jackets, soft-shell jackets, and face masks as part of the Ralliart collection.
Like the models they will be installed on, these accessories are limited to the Japanese market. But we’re hoping an exception can be made at least for the wearables. How about it, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines?
